Bronze Scroll
with Vintage Celluloid

This pen's barrel is made with an early 1930s vintage celluloid in black and antique gold, while the cap, section and blind cap are made from modern acrylic. Bronze is used for the trim, and the carved cap band is inlaid into the two piece acrylic cap. The cap posts by screwing onto the barrel.

Carved Acrylic
with Mokume

This pen was created with "Aspen" acrylic and mokume. The barrel is deeply hand carved with files in a freeform style, then polished with abrasives on leather pads. Mokume was forged for the clip and machined for the remainder of the trim, carved with a hand held rotary tool, then lightly etched to enhance the pattern.

Sculpted Plume
with Damascus

Broadwell's first freeform style pen featured a bold red acrylic cap, section, blind cap, and couplings. The damascus barrel, cap band, and clip were  carved in a flowing organic style with selective texturing. Barrel end was threaded for secure cap posting.
