Persian with Scabbard
Similar to the knife pictured below, this Persian has subtle differences. The guard has a more pronounced top
tine and the blade has more upward curve. The outstanding twist
damascus, with layering ranging from broad to bands so tight they
shimmer, is from Tom Ferry. The scabbard has a sculpted wood core
with calf skin wet formed over it. Insets show details of the carving
and texturing. The handle is maple burl and the fittings are bronze.

Engraved
Persian
This last Persian fighter has a twist pattern damascus blade, bronze
fittings, and a stabilized maple burl handle. On the floral element
around the blade's ricasso is a bronze button carved by Broadwell with
three leaves. The guard has been engraved by Ray Cover in a bold floral
design that flows well with the knife. Broadwell's mark is a sterling
silver button over the handle pin.
